NEWBIE...building a computer....help! (links fixed)

well the dell has been running good for over 4 years now......so i was thinkin its about time to get a new pc.....im trying to build something that will last me another 4-5 years....heres what i think i want so far.......

Antec Performance I P180 Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16811129154

Antec NeoPower 480W Power Supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16817103924

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813131517

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo 1GHz FSB 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Dual Core Processor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16819103546

now for the newbie questions.......

-will that power supply be enough?

-will that motherboard fit in the case? i know its the right form factor (atx) but, from looking at the pictures it doesnt look like it would line up w/ all of the holes in the back of the case?

-is that 4400+ processor worth it over the 3800+?

and i know i really do not need SLI for what i use my computer for, but i thought it wouldnt hurt to have it for the future, and just run 1 card lol

any other suggestions or recommendations would be great!

anyways thanks for any help...

XFX PVT70GUDF7 Geforce 7800GT Video Card - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16814150108

btw if this helps, i use my computer for music producing.....internet, email etc, school (im am IT major), but yeah i do alot of multi tasking......ill have 2 music programs up, w/ firefox, aim, and word typing a paper, and photoshoping something.....

i would love advice if you know about a cheaper alternative but is just as good as something i listed...thanks!

480 watts is perfect depends on 12v amps (your link doesn't work - it should have high ampage though). Exactly what you need.

I think it says you need exactly 480w (25 amps at 12v) for the 7800GTX SLI. So you should be fine. Just check teh 12v rating.

first of all are you going to be OCing if not valueselect ram will be ok, and that will save you some money.

second do not get a XFX card, bad company.

if you are going to be SLiing the 7800GTXs you need an SLI ready psu, and im pretty sure the antec neopower is not a nvidia sli ready psu

oh yeah, change over to a DFI nF4 SLi-DR better board, asus just isnt good with amd but good with intel

+3.3V@30A, +5V@38A, +12V1@18A, +12V2@15A, -12V@1A, +5VSB@2A

the link is working for me.

thanks i fixed the links

no i will not be OCing.....

so should i get the SLI board? i dont relly game at all........is SLI going to be a standard in the future?

thanks

i would think maybe but SLI is really just for gamers now

what you need is

DFI nF4 ultra-D
2GBs of valueselect ram(corsair in my opinon)
whatever hdd, sata, and stay with seagate or WD but i perfer seagate
X2 4400+ toledo
7800GTX or 7800GT< but there is no need for a high end graphics card if your not into gaming a 6800GT would be sufficent enough too
