Yes, check your motherboard's manual. There should be a jumper or switch. If you don't have a manual or can't find the jumper/switch, take out the battery and leave it out for a few minutes, then put it back.

Another question ...If I take the battery out..Would the computer start up again with those default settings ?

Note you must leave the battery out for 2 minutes or so... but yes, once you re-insert the cmos battery it will load with default bios options.

Another question...sorry ...jejeje

Do you guys know a place where there is a pic of a motherboard so I see where the batterie is at.....A friend of mine has it....I have to tell him how to do it over the phone
..

And once I do that the computer will start normally .,...correct ?

You can boot on most systems withou the battery, but it will show an error and you can choose to use default settings. Turn your system off, take out battery, wait few minutes, put it back, and boot. Your system will be back at default BIOS settings, if that's what you are asking.

Do you know what kind of MOBO you have ?
Ie: Asus has asus.com that you can select the mobo and view the overview pic.

As for the second part.. Yes it "Should" boot up normally

I dont know what is the MOBO of my friends computer....
But what about a pic of a "standard one" ??
