Hi, my old packard bell computer running windows Me finally gave up a few months ago, and i bought a new computer.
However, i lost alot of programs that i liked from my old computer, such as microsoft word, and microsoft photo editor. I have 3 master disks that i have used before to remaster my old computer before, which have all of my software on them, is it possible that i can put these CD's into my new machine, hold shift to stop it autorunning, and install these programs separately WITHOUT deleting my data or removing windows XP etc...

That particular Office Suite will not work with XP.
They didn't give you office suites with your XP machine ?

Well, it came with microsoft works word processor and all of the microsoft works programs but i dont like the word processor program.

Sorry that sounded so silly, its just i dont like that program as much as word, and i would like to get it back.

You going to have to purchase the Microsoft Suites then.
You need to find the office professional suite.
