HDD Partitioning

You need unallocated space on the harddisk to create a partition. If you don't have unallocated space you could delete a partition to replace it by a partition with a different fle-system. Or just format it using the file-system you prefer. Just rigt click on the disk to see the options.
 
I recommend Norton Partition Magic for an easy-to-use utility for managing partitions, although XP's built-in disk management program does the same job...

I always use PowerQuest Partition Magic, but it's not free, so....
Windows disk management lacks a lot of features, like resizing, moving, merging, copying, converting etc....etc.
Bu for creating/deleting/formatting partitions its fine.
