Bottlenecking questions

I understand what you and Nubius are saying, but essentially, that is a bottleneck right there isn't it?
no it really isn't...a graphics card and CPU don't have to 'keep up' with each other as they don't communicate directly to each other in the first place like CPU and RAM does...

CPU & RAM combine to process things in the game, whereas the GPU is basically on it's own to process and render the other things...the CPU isn't having to wait for any instructions from the graphics card or anything like that, it simply on it's own is can't handle the instructions it's given...this isn't because it's being given too much information, it's because it's not a good enough CPU to calculate it fast enough.

I wouldn't consider that a bottleneck more as it simply being, your graphics card is a few generations ahead of your CPU
