I certainly hope this is the right forum. Anyways...

...I am doing work on a computer for some friends that is linked to a Netware server. My main problem is that I can connect to all of the servers but one---the one they need day to day. When I try to connect as a regular user (or any user, for that matter) I get a log with a reading similar to this:

Code:
HOME
LOGIN-LGNW9532.DLL-890: The specified server is unknown.
LOGIN-LGNW9532.DLL-430: The following drive mapping operation could not be completed.
    [INS S1:=HOME\SYS:\LOGIN\NAV]
The error code was 89ff.
LOGIN-LGNW9532.DLL-740: This utility could not execute external program OSVER.
LOGIN-LGNW9532.DLL-740: This utility could not execute external program \\HOME\SYS\LOGIN\NAV\OSVER.
LOGIN-LGNW9532.DLL-740: This utility could not execute external program VP_Log32.
I've looked for ways to fix this, but me being a Novell n00b, they were all jibberish :p

If anyone could provide any suggestions at all, they would be very welcome.

TIA everybody.

BTW, it runs 98FE with client version 3.40.0.0

The network admin at my school runs netware, we have a few WS's with that client i can have him look at it.

o crap dude, sorry man, i forgot to ask him about it today, he's usually pretty busy but I can probably send this in an email to myself and nab it tomorrow morning and print it off before school tomorrow.

Chuck said that you need to make sure that the user has trustee rights to that server, and the home directory, also for that ff89 error or watever he wasnt sure, look up on support.novell.com, hope that helps.
