I am getting an AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton and am planning to oc it to 2800+

If I have a ASUS A7N8X-X mobo with a certified AMD CPU Fan and Heatsink....a 450 Watt case w/3 fans, and a GeForce 5900 XT 128Mb do you think my processor will overheat? I heard AMD fans are bad but the site that is custom building it doesn't have any others

Mine runs at 51oC max load stock settings.
If you don't want to be too ambitious I'm sure stock hs/f will be fine I have heard of people getting up to 2.3GHz on stock cooling.
Be aware that the multipliers are locked on the new processors though so you'll need good ram (PC3200) to overclock the FSB instead.

i have heard from most people the stock heatsink fan from an xp2500 retail is good. i use it and agree it is good, you don't have to worry about overheat with it. it also has a copper base
