Exactly, I posted in this forum as it annoys me that people say that an older socket sucks just because there is something newer. A 754 3700 is close to the fastest you can buy at the moment (except the unaffodable athlon fx's then) and it totally crushes a stock venice 3200. At least mention that fact also instead of immediately recommending against an older platform because you cannot upgrade/overclock/it's older/doesn't have DC RAM (what's only a small improvement)/etc...

Agreed. I think my 3000+ Sempy roxers w/ my 6800GT. I COULD use DC ram if i had 939 but i dont really care. Im happy w/ what i got.
