Do you get sound after your log in screen? Just hit a bunch of keys and your sure to hear a tone. You need to rule out if Windows is in fact coming on and that the video just fails or if the computer is freezing in between login and windows loading screens.
The only sound that i hear is the start-up single beep. When it gets past the loading screen and goes blank before the log-in screen, i can press shift 5 times and i hear Sticky-Keys popup.
I tried resetting the CMOS both ways; changing the jumper settings, and taking the battery out.
Both with the same result. Gets past loading screen, but goes blank before log-in screen.
Well, i've found i can boot in safe mode, though, i've ran check disk and that didn't help. Still have the problem mentioned multiple times. [During boot, after Windows loading screen, but before the Welcome Log-In screen, the monitor goes blank.]
