Virus problem HELP

I am at temple university and i am not allowed to run my on Virus software WHICH SUCKS....but they run Symantec Antivirus. ok anyway they said that I am infect with a Trojan.vundo as well as Adware.virtumonde.............Can someone tell what i can do to remove them because i cant get a free trial of antivirus because their network blocks access to other antivirus programs...please help

download this http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ and then run it. Should help you get it off. Then if can, get this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...a2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en and run that. Should help you a little. If you can't get to them, then you need to contact the University Tech people and express your concern for them restrcting your right to freedom of choice when it comes to applications. Either, they need to provide you with a version for free or open the portal for you to get your updates. Otherwise, you infected PC will help spread the virus on the network.
Or talk to the Dean. I'm sure you can get this working... Otherwise, if you can't get anything going, start making a lot of noise in the media. U's don't like that kind of attention and doing so will cause a stir...

Try to search a fix tool for both of the viruses on symantec website.
I guess that they'll (the Uni') will let you run the remove tool made by symantec.
Other than that i can suggest to contact their Net admin for more details.
