Gaming CPU?

What's the best gaming CPU in the $250-$300 range, and the best mobo to go along with it, $100-$200 range. I need my cheap "Dane Elec???" RAM to work with it . They are DDR400 and i have 4x512.

the best gamming CPU wpuld definitly be an AMD.

thatd be pretty good for your price range, also 2 X 512 DDR memory is the best for gamming you don't need more than a gig.

Im not good with motherboards though.

No, that was soooo 3 months ago. 2gig is for optimal performance for gaming. 1GB is recommended, and 512mb is minimal.
