windows taskbar problem

i recently added a hard drive to my computer and also moved my computer to a different part of the same room. Now the only thing that is bothering after turning it on is that the start bar and taskbar are the really old skool kind. all grey. I have windows xp and it was the blue colorful kind, but i cant get it back. also i went to propertys and went to the new start menu but it still stays the same. can someone help me with this?

The only thing I can think would cause that(if trying to change the property didn’t work) is that, for some reason, the *.bmp’s making the “new” ask bar are missing.

Try a windows repair.

You already tryed uncheck the box that says use classic style?

Check it.
