A guy at my Dads work has this comp for sale he said 2000 bucks, do u think its worth it:

Amd Atholon 64 3500+

ASUS A8N-SLI nForce4 SLI Chipset SATA RAID Dual PCIE MB w/Gb-LAN, USB2.0, IEEE-1394, &7.1Audio

1024 MB (512MBx2) PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR MEMORY (Corsair Value Select)

NVIDIA Geforce 7800 GT 256MB 16X PCI Express Video Card (2 of them)

(SATA150) Maxtor 250GB 7200RPM 8MB Cache Hard Drive

With out Monitor. What do u think?

1,500 the most 2,000 i dont see that happening. Plus its used and value ram is like 89 bucks, so its not 2000.

So u think its only worth 1500 even with the 2 video cards.

2x7800GTX with a 3500+? Bottleneck galore? I'm pretty sure even one would be close to being bottlenecked, lol.

as I said in another thread, CPU's dont really bottleneck graphics cards...

even if he were putting a 7800GTX AGP (lets pretend one exists) into a 2GHz XP machine with 512mb....it wouldn't be bottlenecking it per se, it's just his machine is outdated...simple as that.

3500+ definitely wouldn't "bottleneck" that system and it'd still be quite powerful for gaming
