if crossfire ever comes out and is as good as advertised i think it will be better in that you won't have to have identical cards. why not 8 or 16 or 32 gpus???

That's a bit overboard. Quad GFX Cards? I'd rather have Dual Core CPU, (2) Video cards, (1) PPU and X-FI.

The SLI person just needs to be egged, but 2 graphics cards is enough. In fact it's overkill.

it's one of those few and far between moments where we agree.

I don't even want to think of the ridiculous PSU needed to power something like that, not to mention what about the sli bridges

(2) GFX cards work together as (1) - The other (2) work together as (1)
Then the (1) & (1) are interweaved?
