Hello all, I made a pc configuration to maybe buy from my local PC club. I'm just wondering if I'm missing anything or if it is decent at all. I'll mainly be using it for gaming, surfing web, e-mail, typing, etc.

It all comes down to $ $1,163.90 without tax. But I'm on a budget of about $1300.

Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks.

looks good to me. but the processor is the mobo

EDIT: lol wtf, right when i posted about wherse the ram. i look and the price changed form 1000 1100 . lol you read my mind

try getting a cpu with a venice core. you might want to upgrde to a 6800GT if you can

Hmm, it doesn't look like they have a amd venice core for sale. I guess I could put the 6800 in though. Thanks.

Why don't you buy from a place like newegg.com?

For an oldskool newcastle core, that's AWFULLY expensive.

Would the amd cpu i edited above be much better? Reason I don't want to buy from newegg is because I just want to get a computer locally and I'm a noob at building.

Buildings not that hard. The hardest part is actually getting the dam LED Wires in the right places, and on the dfi boards they are at the very bottom, which sucks if you have a big ol winfast 6880 gt in there, and a sound card. But otherwize, that looks awesome. Dont be afraid of building, as long as you lay everything out, and make sure everything is there, youll do fine.

PS The 3200 is the best interms of value to performance, i had one in my other computer, its a very reliable processor, always gets the job done.
