Desktop Clock- It runs faster than it should, why?

Hey guys,

Just the other day I noticed a problem with my clock on my desktop toolbar. The seconds actually go faster than normal. It's almost twice as fast as it should be and I have no idea why it's like this. I haven't touched any settings on my pc in weeks.

What I did recently was install a wireless internet network, and I'm assuming that's when it had started.

Can anyone help me out here.. It's really annoying thinking that it's one time, but in reality it's not (when I check my watch).

Yuor cmos battery could be messing up, also check the date and time settings

The date and settings are correct.

Take your cmos battery out and replace it or just try resetting it.
