Ok finally decided

So here is what I am gonna do. I am basically going to have 2 gaming rigs. One that I can learn tweaking on, and ther other to put my knowledge to work.

For my first system I am going to run...

ABIT "AV8" K8T800 Pro Chipset Motherboard
EVGA nVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT
Antec 550 Watt Power Supply
AMD Athlon 64 3500+, 512K, L2 Cache, Socket 939 Windows
Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200
Western Digital 80GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive,
Sony Internal 16X DVD+R / Double Layer/DVD+RW Drive,


This will be my testing system.

Now for what I am getting

Verge X Case
Western Digital 160GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Dual Core
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe or DFi nF4 SLI-DR
eVGA Geforce 7800GTX
Sony Internal 16X DVD+R / Double Layer/DVD+RW Drive
And not decided on ram but whatever I get will be 2 gigs.
And still not decided on PSU.

Other than that how does it look? Any suggestions?

Kill the 1st system, and use the 2nd for both. Get a Seagate harddrive. Get the DFI mobo. For a PSU, go with the OCZ Powerstream 520 watter. For RAM, go with OCZ Plat Rev 2s

Why kill the first system?? I have had it for almost a year. Makes no sense to get rid of it lol.

Well, id simply get new parts for the first one. Get a dual core CPU, get a 7800 GTX, get another gig of RAM and get a new hard drive (or 2)
