well.... no particular reason but its an old DOS utility type, and those sorts seem to freak me out a bit :S i mean, if something as simple as 'format c:' could wipe out your whole drive god knows what other dos things could do

i just heard from some place that smartdrv.exe seems to make harddrive processes faster. is that right?

yep not exactly the techy type here
