How overclock a 2000+ XP and 2500+ XP

I'm wondering how to overclock my friends AMD 2000+

And also I'm wondering how to overclock my 2500+ Barton
to a 3200+ XP

i cant seem to find AMD's CPU chart. but from my calculations
1670Mhz / 133.3333.... = 12.5 so tell your friend set his xp2000 for

133Mhz CPU external frequency: 133Mhz

CPU frequency multiple: 12.5

to OC xp2500 to xp3200 set your CPU external frequency to 200Mhz. leave your CPU frequency multiple at default which is 11. your result is 2.2Ghz. play a game for a few minutes, if unstable set CPU frequency multiple down to 10.5

do u need high end ram for that or will 333mhz do?

you might need decent quality pc3200 400Mhz ram for that. i am not certain. it does not hurt to try even if you don't. if your game locks up than try lower settings. test with something that will strain the CPU which means dont test by browsing the web or writing a word document.

if you are going to buy ram specifically for OC'ing that xp2500 i would recommend corsair XMS pc3200 256 or 512MB. there are 2 versions. the LL low latency is much more expensive and not necessary, but nice to have
