im not sure socket 478 has PCI-E capability.

I can be. Good luck finding the motherboard for it as I can not longer get them any more.

Dell ought to be forced to put a warning label on its ads, like cigarettes do...

I'm using one right now. Well, I guess you culd can it a "Franken-eMachine."

Of course, mine is a pre-Gateway one, with real parts. Can't overclock, but that's about all it can't do.
