Tough choice. Amd 64 would be excellent but you're lagging with the rest. I say go with the second set. Smaller proc but you can always oc it. 2500's are easy to oc and you should easily be able get 3200+ speeds out of it. Just make sure you get a good hsf and have plenty of fans.

overall the second one is better. if you can get all that but get something higher than xp2500 that would be great. otherwise you should overclock FSB just a bit.

if you cant i would still get the second one. look at the video card and powersupply, huge difference!

ya im gonna overclock fsb....can anyone tell me what to set it at......and if I have to set it at 400fsb do i need a 400fsb mobo

wait....if i can get the AMD 64 3000+ with 512 DDR and a Radeon 9600 256 DDR Ram would that be better?

or should i go with the Athlon XP 2500+ 512 DDR and a Radeon 9600 XT 128 DDR?
