Missing Components

OK this is a Family matter.

My Mother purchased a demo laptop from her AAFEES store (Military Store). Every thing has been working fine until today. Her laptop stopped connecting to the internet so she called me.

Her computer owner is AAFEES. I know how to correct that. However, when I tried to walk her through getting into the control panel...it is not their.

Is there a way to "un-hide" any features that the store might have hidden. I am sure that they did not want their customers making changes in the control panel.

I appreciate any and all help.

It could just be the way that Control panel is displayed...
Go to your start menu and right click... Try to customize the view of it and add control panel as a folder.

Its on the advanced tab of the properties of the start menu... It says "Display as link, Display as Menu and don't display" so It could just be hidden on that machine.
