1) desktop pc
win xp home
p4 2ghz oc at 2.2
256 mg ram
20 gig hdd
64 meg gf4

2) sony vaio laptop
win xp pro
p3 1.15 ghz
256 mg ram
30 gig hdd
32 mg intel built in vidio card

2) desktop pc
win 98
p2 266 mhz (i think)
64 mg ram
4 gig disk
video not sure

Check out these sites. From what i know, you can only do functional clucsters with Linux. The Xp Clustering is more of a Load balancing thing. Unless that is what you are looking for...

hold on what is the diff between load balanceing and clustering?

My mate was telling me about what i thought was a 'BayWolf' cluster. So its Beowulf eh? It intrigues me! Is it possibler to do with Fedora?

Load-balancing is basically a multipoint-failover system, meant for fault-tolerance and failure-avoidance, and is not a computational cluster (ie Parallel Processing). For that, you need Unix, or a Unix-like platform, like Linux.

There is a windows "clustering" only available through XP Pro and 2003 server I believe. if that is what you are asking. It is a load balance type cluster, so you don't get the process control like with Beowulfs.
