PCI slots

I want to know if there are different versions of PCI like 2.1 or 2.2 and if there are then how to find out which one my motherboard has?
Any responses will be appreciated

There are different voltage types and different sizes of PCI slots. You will probably find that you have the standard length 3.3v PCI slot. What type of motherboard do you have?

i have a crossfire GLA motherboard
well let me rephrase my question, check the specs for this network card

what do they mean by PCI 21./2.2?

I beleive that just means that it will work on newer (2.2 PCI) and older (2.1 PCI) motherboards/chipsets.
