My new PC; I would like opinions please

Some people have been saying that it isn't 2.4 GHZ, but 2400 which is like 1.8 GHZ. Is this true or is 2400 more than 1.8? Also will that be sufficient seeing as I will ONLY play games on it and surf the net, and I will be the only user.

Is there any way I can overclock it to make it better? If so can you provide a link please.

I think it is 1.8ghz; regardless, the 2400 is an estimate of how fast the proc runs in comparison to a Pentium 4, so it runs about 2.4ghz compared to a P4.

You can overclock it if you wish, do a search in the Overclocking forum for some tips.

Yeah it is 2400, which is 1.9 GHZ or so.

the games you listed should be fine for the computer you building
but processor upgrade is recommended at least athlon 64
