Hi everyone i was wondering if someone could tell me the difference between the AMD Athlon64 X2 Manchester Core CPU and the AMD Athlon64 X2 Toledo Core CPU besides the large price increase (in australia anyway) on the Toledo Core

I am assuming that the toledo cored CPU is faster as the clock speed is higher and i am pretty sure both are dual core cpus.

Any info would be greatful as im debating at the moment on an upgrade and cant decide to go with one of these CPUS or something else. Also if anyone could point me in the direction of some benchmarks between the 2 and other CPUs that would be great

Thank You

The Toledo has a larger L2 cache (1MB each core) to the Manchester's 512MB per core.

Also the Toledo has a smaller heat dump.

Nothing much else. Its like the differnece between Venice and San Diego.
