Ok im getting a new graphic card soon and i want to no if a ATI - RADEON X800 XL Graphics Card PCI.I no i have like 2 open PCI Slots .Would work? heres some information about my computer


Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
2.99 GHz, 0.99GB of Ram


on the box it says PCI x16 or watever how do i check if i have that

and what the diff beteween pci and pci express

you need a PCI express slot. A regular pci slot will not do the trick.

Also the x800xl is a sh!tter. Go for nvidia 6600gt.

the long yellow slot is a PCI express slot



can you tell me the model of computer/motherboard you have? If you can, i can tell you wether or not you have a PCI express slot

It looks like you have got a PCI-Express Port from the information on the internet (SOny has the worst online data and support information ever!!!!)

If you are planning on spending the same amount of money buy a 6800GT not a X800XL. It will last you a while longer than a 6600GT.
