eMachines ATI Integrated Help...

[Counter-Strike]

Ok so my friend is getting and eMachine computer, for basic use.

It has the following:

AMD 64 3200+ 939
512MB PC3200 RAM
ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Integrated

Now I believe that it is shared, so would it take up 128MB of RAM? -.-

He needs to know b4 he buys.

Integrated = shared memory.

The stats should tell you how much is shared. It is usually 64MB and 128MB. He could always spring for some extra RAM to make up the difference, or pick up a cheap graphics card (like mine).

Well I might consider the x700 PCI-E to him...

That'd work. Any graphics card will alleviate the sharing of memory.
