I like the set up. Everything look sgood but i question the RAM. Wouldn't it be best to just go with a single stick of 1gb for now? So later when i want to upgrade i dont have to throw away two stick of 512 to buy 2 1gb.s

Oh wait i just realized that the tower/mobo isn't MicroATX. I wanted to go with one of those small little cases. Not much room in door room and i like the look. Is it still workable for one of those?

Ya i thought about the ram thing. Yes you are right, but, Igb is more expensive and you will miss out on dual channel aspect. But if you can afford a little more, than get 1 stick, sure. I was tryin to stick with your budget.

As far as micro, um, dont know much, but they certainly cant cool as well and wont offer as much upgradability/add-ons....i mean 14" vs 18"" isnt really that big a deal is it?? In your dorm room?

It isn't such a big deal, but i wanted to have the case on my desk or hutch. and for that i needed the smaller microatx case, like the one in my above post.

So if i want to use one of these, what MB options do i have, since that is the only thing that should change.


Edit: I'll just stick to a normal ATX tower. In that event, what is so good about that tower suggested. It looks bland, and i dont know if i like having to open the door to use the drives, but then again maybe i'm being too picky. Thanks

I need a new monitor.....And i dont want a huge one due to , again, desk space. Its the cheapest 19" lcd i could find. It's not that shotty either. Yea thats about it.
