Newegg and G. Skill

I went to order my parts today and I was planning on purchasing G.Skill ddr400 ram that idiotec had picked out for me in a previous post.

Well I guess Newegg doesn't sell G.Skill any more, so would anyone know where I could find this ram hopefully at a decent price. If not would anyone be able to recommend ram that would perform the same for the same price. (I am over clocking)

Man, I've been hearing rumours about G.Skill getting discontinued for the longest time, I thought they were BS after G.Skill was still around months later but it looks like they were true after all

I see you were looking at some BH-5s. Both the Mushkin Redlines and OCZ VX Gold chips use the same stuff and achieve the same results, however in order to achieve those results you either need a DFI lanparty board or the OCZ DDR booster

Here is about the cheapest TCCD's I've seen out there:

The RAM you listed is DDR500, so yeah, that gives you good OC headroom right there.

I can't remember the price of those G-Skills, but som good BH-5's should only run you $120-130. To me, $160 for the TCCD's above is a really good buy.
