Question about reinstalling

Is it bad too delete my old partition on my hard drive and start a new one and reinstall windows? Will it make my computer slower? Because i did it before and one of my games was slow in some areas, and i thought its because there might be some leftover stuff in my hd after redoing it all. Let me know. Thx

Not to my knowledge, I always delete my old partition to make sure I dont leave anything behind on the reinstall, but thats just me. I would suggest it.

Reformatting is always good... It cleans things up a bit.
The reason that your game was probably slower, is probably b/c you didn't match all drivers back to what they originally were. Remember there are a TON of drivers out there. Some of the newer ones aren't always the best for your game.

hmm thats right i dont think i put the new driver disk that i had the first time i installed it, im sure it will fix it thx
