Is 6600 the lastest type,if it is i want a 512mb 6600! Would this be good:

SAPPHIRE Radeon X800 XL 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I / ViVO (dual slot fan cooler)

Is it better than a normal 6600 (256mb).
A 512MB NVIDIA Geforce 6800Ultra Graphics TV-Out/DVI is £400(exc VAT!)

Will any Cd Drive Floppy Zip drives just be able to clip in. When i get all my parts how do i know how which wire connect them?

Will any sound card work with the board?

Is my board i've chosen a good board because i want the best under £500? Would you reccomend it. If i can get a better one could u tell me and i need to no if it is compatible with all the hardware i've chosen so far. Does it have all the ports i need for soundcard graphics card,2 hd floppy,cdr-w cd dvd, zip, processor, ram? Is 533mhz RAM speed very fast? I know i could of got667mhz but mobos r rare unless anybody know anywhere where i'd get them, that'll be GREAT!

ALERT: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=981560&CatId=1573 ( the board i want) dosn't say anything about having APG slots does it have any???
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=981560&Tab=2&NoMapp=0 it says 1 x16 PCI Express - will that be a video card port and would that be good with a 512mb video card.

Thx ALOT :)

No that board doesn't have an AGP slot it has a PCI-E x16. Yes the PCI-E x16 is your graphics port, thats where you will put your card. PCI-E x 16 is the one you want anyways, its way faster then an AGP.
I'm sure that motherboard is good its from Intel however checkout ASUS, ABIT or Gigabyte. They are all really good companies. Also if you go with one of those you can always OC later, Intel boards don't support overclocking.

DO these work together?

MOBO:

RAM:

CPU

(IS THAT A GOOD PENTIUM)

And how many hard drives can i have? Will this work:

http://www.valuelist.co.uk/ProductDetailPage.asp?guid=&ticketid=0&productID=2558

I will probaly add another later is there enough slots

AND

what type of video card slot does it have?

THX ALOT :) :) :)

Is my pc going to be REALLY powerful? Start of the art?

What would be better the 250gb hd or the 300gb? Which would be faster?

also

http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=309056&cks=ASS&assoc=D8029637-0DDA-48DA-9BA1-03B0D58EDEA7

the memory is pC4200 or PC4300 (does it matter).

What about issues concerning overclocking?

How many fans should i get and where should they go. Will any ATX fan fit?

Is all i really need now sound card video card and some drives and ATX case?

Thx - I think im almost done!!!

P.S do all the cable come with it? I know where RAM cards go in but how do i know where other stuff goes. Hard drive go into the PCI dont they? And do also cd drives but zip and floppy go into smaller PCI?

Size has nothing to do with performance....LOL. If your looking for speed you need to consider.....
RPM - how fast it will spin
Interface - MBytes Per Second(MBps) or Gbits Per Second(Gbps)
i.e ATA 66, ATA 100, ATA 133, SATA 150 and SATA 3.0Gbps.
Starting with the slowest and working up(66 slower then the SATA 3.0).
And a RAID configuration is also going to give better performance. That mobo will support 4 SATA 3.0(also referred to SATA II although this is wrong).
Here..........http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144701
That was just an example I'm not recomending it.
If you really want state of the art you want a board that supports SLI. Also needs to support 1066MHz FSB this is for future Intel procs.

Can anybody give me a REALLY fast/good

Processor
Mobo
RAM
Hd

that are compatible. From the Uk would be cool.

Thx :) ;) :p

P.S I want fast pc for Games, Programming ,GCSE work ect
