i just finished building my pc and for some reason it will not start up, no fans spin or anything, i have switched the memory modules to different slots, only have a vid card, cpu hooked up, cleared the cmos, checked all connections and switches, none of the connectors are backwards, boot outside the case, and i dont know what else to try.

components:
asus p4p800-vm
winbond memory pc3200
asus 9600xt
hitachi 80GB HD SATA
pioneer dvd-rom(currently unhooked)
generic floppy drive(currently unhooked)
500W PSU generic

when i plug the power cable into the PSU a lil green LED lights up right below the graphics card slot.

any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

also if you think i crushed/fired something can you tell me how i would know which piece it is so i can replace it before the store warranty runs out.

if anything is faulty it is most likely the motherboard or power supply, prolly the only way to check is y replacing with something else, so if they are still under warranty try get the power supply replaced first, then the motherboard if that doesn't help

well its definately not the cpu or ram right, cuz then the fans would at least spin?
