Help a Newb Wanting to build a Pimp Gaming Comp.

I ran an installation of windows xp even though my cd drive isn't mounted yet. It seemed to work fine, it tried to partition my hard drive. It then said there was an error and every time I try now it says "error loading operating system".

Any ideas to help me out?

I read that setting the hard drive to "Large" instead of "Auto" in the bios is supposed to fix this problem but it didn't fix it for me.

Anything else I can try? Can i remove my partition that I think failed somehow? Please give me some advise.

hey buddy, just start a new thread with the issues...sry i cant help.

you may have to install some sound drivers to cure the "footsteps' sounds..

i had that footstep problem with my onboard sound...? did you try restarting the game and what not
