waht do you guys think of this movitor as a computer monitor.. i plan to use it as both a computer and tv monitor i want your opinion on it

I'ts an LCD TV

It's essentially an LCD TV. The resolution of 1280x720 is great for watching regular or High-Def TV, but may not render so good an image in a PC game such as Battlefield 2. If you are farmilliar with this display res. and like how it appears when used with a computer, go for it! If, on the other hand, you can't play with the res. setting below 1280x1024, this type of monitor is not for you. Instead, opt for a display that has a native res. of at least 1600x1200.

P.S. - Most plasma TVs have a 1280x720 res.
..and there IS a difference between 1280x1024 and 1280x720.

i could set the screen ratio to 4:3 when playin games then wouldnt normal resolutions work properly without distortion.

A 27" Monitor at 1024x720 will look like a 17" monitor at 640x480, only bigger.
