6600 - 7800

is it a mistake, or does the 6600GT really have a faster clock speed than the 7800GTX?

on a site i was looking at, it says the 6600GT has 500Mhz, and the 7800GTX has 430Mhz

is this correct?

Yeah 6600GT has a quite a bit faster core clockspeed.

Just like intels and amds dude...clock speed alone means nothing.

It's completely different cores, different number of pipes, and just plain DIFFERENT

Yeah, I'm not sure whether all the info is 100% accurate, but it's better than a kick in the arse for those of use who want the no bullshit facts about X GPU vs Y GPU.
