yea, you get the printer free, and then the ink is ridiclously expensive.

Not only that but it is $25 for the usb cable to get it to work if you buy it off dell that is

its crazy that the cable is sold separatly, but i suppose that means you can buy a different one from somewhere else for half the price.

you can buy the cable for just a few dolars elsewhere but really the ink cartridges cost more than that printer so I would not want it.

But also to take the likes of a floppy drives for that dell machine you have to pay an extra $40.

I would just buy the machine itself with my $300 and none of the little extras dell suggests

i buy my printer ink for 10 dollars for both color and black. im saving myself like 50 dollars woot woot

EDIT: sorry its on sale right now 3 dollars for black and 1 dollar for color. wow it used to be 4 dollars for black and 6 dollars for color. cool i should buy some more

You can get a celeron 1.7 GHz+256 MB RAM+80gb HD for $299 (CND). That is clearly a rip off. A pentium 3 with those spec's sells at around $120-170 or less!
