a program to make video games?

hello what do people use to make video games what programs? im just curious,and how much do they cost around?

I'm not sure but I can tell you right now that they are not easy thats why they have production teams it's not something for one man to do alone.

what about a texted based game?

Well it can be done using C++ but its incredibly difficult unless you have a lot of free time and a ton of computer experience.

there are such programs for anyone to make games.
i used a couple before and its been a while so i'm sure theres alot more like them out now.
i think one was called gamemaker 5 or something like that, its for simpler 2d type games.
the 3d games you have to spend maybe 50 bucks or so, they include a 3d engine thats royalty free and a huge book, i know theres a new one out with a cutting edge 3d engine but i forget what it was called.
if you search i'm sure you'll find it.
