6600gt with nfsu2 demo

ok i have just downloaded the nfsu2 demo and its very hard to run with me for some reason im using drivers 77.77 and i think with my older ati 9500 pro card, it rendered it much better for some reason well at highest detail with 1024/768 if smoke shows up in the game it completly drops to like around 24- and 15fps maybe even like 12, and i use to run this game at 1280/1024 with my 9500pro, and i mean i thought this game would be nothing up to my 6600gt

Could be a driver issue, or bad support for the 6600GT on that game.

I run NFSU2 on my 6600GT on higest setting for EVERYTHING. Only problem is yes, the smoke from burnouts drop my FPS for about 3 seconds. No other problems.
