a single 7800 GTX is more or less 1.5 times as good as a single 6800 Ultra. sometimes it gets twice the performance, sometimes it doesn't get a performance advantage, but it usually sits at around 1.5 times as good.
the 7800 GTX has 24 pipes, which is 1.5 times the 6800's 16. that more or less says it.

oh, and the 7800 has better anti-aliasing

ok first of all a 7800gtx gets alot of fps but if u had sli,d 7800gtx u would maybe get 10 fps more, its only really in benchmarking u get the big difference, so sli is really pointless,

so what im saying is if u want a high 3dmark05 score then u can sli the 7800 gtx but in gaming from single to dual 7800s you will not get a big enough difference worth the extra 500 dollars or howerver much they cost, i wish i had a 7800 lol

...Im not looking into sli'd 7800's 'burned-ati'...

anyway, i think all in all im gonna go wit the 7800 over the 6800 Sli'd. But one last question is any recommendations on which to go with yet? like MSI, Evga and so forth? I do like Evga.. not to mention that bundle =P

Also, shall it be the GT? or the GTX? any difference?

Thanx all

Cheers-

hmmmm i would deffinetly go with evga 7800 gtx becasue they are just a brand known to be one of the best 2nd hand built and leadtek also.
