transfer VMware installation

hey,

is there a way to transfer a VMware Fedora Core 4 installation to a partition on a pysical hard drive so i won't have to reinstall?

i could copy the files over but then i'd have to change a whole lot of .conf files to match my physical hardware.

any advice? thanks.

can you make an image of it then put it on your drive since its basically the same thing but just a smaller drive and ram.

well like i said, it seems like a viable solution only i'd have to change a whole lot of .conf files to match my physical hardware since VMware uses its own drivers for the hardware. that's a lot of settings to change... i was kinda looking for some feature from within VMware that'll automatically do all that for me. i might be out of luck though huh?

How many files do you have to change?
