DVD Copying

I am wondering what is the best program, free, or cheap, which will copy a DVD to a DVD5 disc. THe condition is that the DVD being copied is one with tv episodes on it.

I have tried DVD shrink, but the video quality loss it too much for DVDs that have alot of video. DVD Cloner 2 is a great program, but it does not work with episode DVDs.

Any ideas that would work with episode dvds?

I use dvd decripter to rip the dvd into avi files, but here I am looking to make a good quality copy of the dvd.

I would use ifoedit to split it to 2 disc. the problem with Episode discs is that they are already compress video (that is how they fit all of those episodes to one disc) so compressing compressed video is not good.

after you rip it with your ripping program, open the main .ifo file of that movie with ifoedit. make sure you associate your ifo files with ifoedit

choose the 'open with' option, the head to your ifoedit.exe icon, then choose 'always open with this program'

Next head to the split to 2 disc option. it will split it to 2 dvd's file on your hard drive

when you are finish, burn it with your burning program
