6600GT vs 6800 vs x800 pro

i know its been asked a million of times, i know the 6600GT is the best bang for your bucks

150 dollars - eVGA 6600GT
180 dollars - eVGA 6800
220 dollars - sapphire x800 pro

i was looking at some of these graphics and i saw almost All the time, the 6800 beats the 6600GT, i believe in only 1 or 2 the 6600GT beats the 6800

only 30 dollars more i think this is better. but i was also looking and the x800pro does better then the 6800 but loses maybe 4 or 5 times.

im thinking of the 6800 to go for, but the x800pro has the 256bit and the 256mb, but the SM3. obviously everyone thinks this is important, so i think im going with the 6800. do you guys really think i should go for the 6600GT? when the 6800 seems to do better.?

looks like 2 6600Gts are better then 2 6800s. in SLi

The 6800 is actually the best bang for the buck if you are going just one single card. It beats the X800 Pro in almost every benchmark except for HL2 and Far Cry. I have the X800 Pro and it is plagued by driver problems. Go with the 6800 regular.

plus if i get lucky i can unlock the 4 additional pipelines and 1 vertex shader. i guess its the 6800 for now. any opinons not to?

I agree the 6800 is better and affordable. All the benchies prove it.

6800 > 6600GT > X800 Pro > 6800LE (i think the X800 Pro beats the 6800LE, but not sure).

I don't think it can be as bad for the money as the X800 Pro is. The X800Pro will probably go down in history as being the worst card for the money of all time...the thing used to be $350-400, and could barely keep up with the $200-at the time 6600GT!
