I have successfully upgraded from ME to XP without problems except for 3 applications requiring re installation, and 3 pieces of hardware requiring new drivers. I also had a problem doing manual updates due to some registry entries saying "NoWindowsUpdate" don't know where they came from?, however auto updates worked & now fully up to date incl. SP2........!!, these entrie were deleted, and problem solved.
One problem remains, due to set up making a revert backup, space on C: is now rather restricted. An article advised that this back-up could be removed via Add/Remove programmes in Control Panel, once happy with new installation, BUT... I can't identify the item/items to remove.
Can anyone put me on the right track please?
