USB Card reader

My FIC 6-in-1 card reader suddenly stopped working a while ago.

Whenever I try to reinstall drivers for it, Windows automatically chooses a driver, and I get this error:

"The installation failed because a function driver was not specified for this device instance"



Any ideas? I'm in need of my card reader...

USB 2.0

Try using a driver made by the hardware company, not just the default windows one. I almost never use them.

I have had absolutely no luck with finding FIC drivers. Their website doesn't give drivers to anything but their mobos.

also, google was suprisingly no help...
