outlook contacts

when i am sending a new message and want to add a contact from my contact list, under my outlook address book it pops up a message that it is searching the sever but it is looking at the wrong server. how do you change the server that it is looking to.

Tools, Email Accounts, click on your email account and hit change on the right. Your server should be displayed in a textbox.

On the Outlook Bar, right-click the shortcut you want to delete, and then click Remove from Outlook Bar on the shortcut menu.

contacts is only listed once over there and it is the working contacts list. i am upgrading to outlook 2003 so hopefully that will work

updating the software did not cure the problem.
