Hi guys i am really thinking of going duel video cards . Now my question is this i know ati xt 850 is a really good card .

If i go NVIDIA Geforce 6600 256MB 16X PCI X 2 will this be better then having just 1 ati xt 850 card

No the x850XT will outpeform it in most cases.

Have you looked at other nvidia cards like the 7800GT, the x850 is a last generation card, ATI have yet to produce a card this generation.

He did not say that, he said two of the 6600's wont do better than the single x850XT. If you bought a single 7800GTX then that card would our perform the X850XT.

2 6800GT's or 2 7800GTX's *which is just overkill*

either the 2 6800GT's or 1 7800GTX, cause in most cases the 7800GTX beats the dual 6800GT's

Dual video cards have their two uses

#1: If you buy a card now, buy another card later

#2: Have 2 of the TOP END video cards
