EDIT; you can use the psu with the case for the price to be cheaper, but its one of those generic psu and the quality is bad, even though i have an aspire psu. very nice btw. you can use it for a couple of weeks or months, and then once you get enough money you can buy a different psu.

I think I would still want to go with the 19" LCD I know it costs more but I can't help wanting a nice big monitor. I might even spring for the top of the line graphics card. Why spend 1500 for something that will need to be upgraded when I am broke. When broke SHOOT FOR THE STARS!! lol

I just noticed a few people's quotes in reviews about the Mobo we were looking at:
"...Ok. If this is the first computer you are build DO NOT get this board. It looks nice and the features sound nice, but it requires ALOT of BIOS changes to run right..."

this board is great for Overclocking, it has a lot of tweaks and little things the you can get the best performance out, i acn see that your not going to be OCing so this board would be a nice board for stability and gaming if you really dont want this board cause of the too many choices in the bios then you can go with an

remeber if you dont want the top of the line graphics card you can always save 200 dollars and go with the 6800GT which is right behind it

I would really like to look into OC'ing. I know that I am a moron, but morons get knowledge by trying shit. So if that is the only reason to not get that Mobo I would still go with the first one you listed. Hopefully there would be people that could help me with any OC'ing issues I might have.

Is it a fairly common Mobo so a good number of people would have experience with it for questions I might have?
