I am looking to upgrade video cards from the Nvidia GeForce 4 series to the 600 model. I have pretty much picked out two that I am looking at but have heard conflicting reports on which to go with, so I came here. Could you take a look and give me some feedback. I dont really want to spend the extra cash if it wont make that big of a real difference. Most people have said MSI based on preference, but there hasnt been anything else to back it up.
The only thing I am concerned with over another is that I read on Amazon.com that the MSI 6600 (MSI Geforce nx6600) requires an 350-watt power supply... I dont know if this is a mute point because my computer is able to handle the 4 series and its all the same but wanted to ask.
MSI GeForce 6600 $170

ASUS GeForce 6600 $135

I am going to be using it for online gaming. I know some people swear by MSI, but again, if in the end it really isnt going to make a difference I'd rather keep the extra $40 in my pocket.
Thanks in advance
