ok i have a dual boot set up with 2000 pro and xp pro.I just decided to start using 2000 so i got the driver 4 2000 for my belkin 54g usb reciver but the set up just crashes before anything happens and i get the error.
the program has created errors and will be shut down.wtf it is a fresh install and i cannot run my drivers.

any ideas?

So I wonder if i reformat to fat32 instead will my problem go away?
that is an idea that just ran through my head.
Or maybe some setting I messed up on?

then try to add the driver for 2000 (or it might go through). you might can force it. also there is a trick to force a driver to install, but I forgot what it was

then it must be that windows 2000 don't support usb 2.0

it does it said it on the usb 2.0 card even 98 can support it i cant even install photoshop.

so when you run an installer, your machine restarts? shutsdown, or the installer shutsdown?

can you explain a bit more in detail?
